I absolutely loved the Hardy Boys as a kid. Read the entire old series. I was about 8 when the Casefiles series came out. Was meant to bring the brothers into the modern era of the time (late 80's to early to mid 90's). It certainly worked. It grips you right off the bat with the death of Joe's longtime girlfriend Lola. Definitely a more action packed style of writing to these books compared to the original series. Hope they come out with the rest. There's a Hardy Boys/ Nancy Drew team up series that ties into these books as well.
