The zombies have over run the Earth! A small outpost, remnants of a twisted scientist’s scheme to defeat the plague holds out against the army of King Zombie. Their secret weapon are the Lepers---victims of a bizarre experiment that left them with dead skin in breathing husks with flesh that even zombies won’t touch. THIS ISSUE: King Zombie sends in his largest attack yet against Safe Haven and reveals to Bowker that the purpose is not to win but to push the humans to the point of desperation. Now, Bowker can negotiate the terms of surrender and the humans have no choice but to accept the terms. Deake is diagnosed by the doctor and Bowker makes a surprising decision.
