Ok spoiler alert but the dog in this book is so ridiculous that it made me stop reading three chapters in. It makes a question mark out of dog biscuits to engage in conversation with it's new owner . I mean , the whole thing is just so far fetched that it really prevented me from getting into the story and I found the ridiculousness of it so distracting that I had to stop reading. Not a great book

My Favorite Dean Koontz book of all time. I absolutely loved every page of this book. The characters, and I mean EVERY character in this book was perfectly written. I was hooked from page 1. This is a fantastic read that I did not want to put down. And when I did, I just couldn't wait to get back into it. In my opinion, this is one of those books that you are totally immersed in, right along with the characters and found myself saying, "What are we going to do now?!!" I did not want this book to end. It's quite a tale that I highly recommend!

I can't possibly understand how anyone could find this even remotely boring! This is one of my all time favorites, I've read it several times. It's so engrossing and difficult to put down. You really grow attached and fall in love with Einstein. Such an original and creative fiction, rivaled only by his other work One Door Away from Heaven. 10/10 recommend.
