Vaughn had visions of plying the seven seas with Angela at his side. Then she and fate crapped all over his plans. Bent on discovering the truth about what happened to humanity and the rest of the world's life, Angela drags a less than willing Vaughn across the Mediterranean and into central Europe. However, even the overhead presence of a line of levitating steel structures and ships couldn't prepare them for what lied ahead. The size and scale of what they find in Geneva rocks them to their cores.

Angela and Vaughn fall into the center of a world-consuming machine. While struggling to survive, they wander through a looping chain of utterly alien lands. When they finally deduce the true nature of their situation, Angela discovers a potential way out, not just for her and Vaughn but all of Earth's life.

Angela can bring back the whole of the human race!

But only if she and Vaughn can survive the journey home.

It’s very difficult to write a review for a Dean M. Cole book. What Dean does with his writing is nearly impossible to describe without giving away spoilers. This book is the 2nd in a series and it continues a hair-raising, apocalyptic journey to a place only he could have imagined in a manner that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very last page. Don't plan on sleeping if you start this. I couldn't put it down. While you can read it without having read Solitude first, why would you? Both stories are great fun, entertaining, suspenseful and delightful. When an author is so talented that he can weave a story, taking you to a place you actually believe: you cannot help but be grateful to them for that gift. When that author can pitch you into an alternate reality and then bring you back to this time and place: you cannot help but appreciate their brilliant mind. When an author does all that with charm, and laughter and a genuine sense that he loves building the story for his writer: you have found an author who needs to write, rather than one who wants to write. I said about Solitude; the first book in this series, “This is the best journey I have been on since ‘The Stand’.” I stand by that statement with the addition of Multitude. I am eagerly awaiting Amplitude with baited breath. Daphne Brown

First, a bit of business. I am a part of Mr. Cole’s advanced reading team and received a free copy of this book. I have been a fan of Mr. Cole’s writing for some time. He has a knack for capturing technical details and weaving them into a very well written tale. This book is number two in a planned triology. Often the second book is critical to the success of the story arc. Based upon the quality of this story the trilogy will be a smash hit. While the version of the book I received was an advanced copy there were only a few issues identified that needed to be addressed beyond the normal grammatical issues identified by his editors. The story involves the adventures of the last man and women on the planet. Their adventures involve fighting against forces that would steal our planet and condemn our entire species to oblivion. The question is whether or not two people can prevail. Only time will tell. If you like well written and adventurous sci-fi then this is the story and writer for you. You will not be disappointed! Enjoy!!

After what seemed like forever, I finally had the opportunity to read this second book of the Dimension Space series, Multitude. It did not disappoint. I do not want to leave any spoilers, but I will say that the mystery surrounding the events of the first book were mostly answered, but now we have a whole new mystery and "what now?!" leading us into the third. I love the post-apocalyptic genre. While Dean's take on it is not 100% new and original, there are really only so many ways one can skin the proverbial cat, and Dean does a great job doing so. I had a hard time putting it down. I'm definitely looking forward to another read-through and the upcoming audiobook! Disclaimer - I was provided an advance draft of this book for editorial and review purposes. That said, I did purchase the final book at launch and intend to also purchase the audiobook once it has been completed. I can't wait to once again hear the talented voices of R.C Bray ("The Martian") and Julia Whelan ("Gone Girl") bring these characters to life.
