About this ebook

Fame is a beast.

The third book in the dance series by USA Today bestselling author Deanna Roy.

It’s people hounding your every move.

Ridiculing your every mistake.

Watching every moment.

It’s agents and producers and ratings.

And in my case, it’s three jilted women who lost a competition when I stormed on stage.

Those girls are back for revenge, and everyone sees a cat-fight in the making.

They’re sharpening their sticks.

Showing up where Blitz and I do.

Getting in my face.

So now I have a choice: let each of them have another shot at my lover.

Or take them on myself.

But Blitz is mine.

Game on.

_____

A fiery addition to the Lovers Dance series. No cliffhanger.

Wicked Dance, the third book in this series, continues the story of Blitz and Livia with more attention on dance and celebrity status than on their background and history. Livia still carries with her the hurts of the past, and continually worries about the effect her decisions will have on her family. Preparation for the finale of the show sheds a completely different light on what happens behind the scenes of a reality show, depicting just how strong a person needs to be to go through with the whole process. While Livia's love for Blitz is sure, she is uncertain about how he will react to the other competitors when the gloves are off. It would seem that the viewing public demand a certain amount of drama and back stabbing, but fortunately when the final vote comes in, they choose the contestant everyone has been rooting for. I personally do not enjoy sagas that carry from book to next, preferring to be done and dusted when I close the covers of a book. However, the romance between Blitz and Livia is charming and I found myself cheering them on. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.

More good times with Livia and Blitz. Wicked Dance is book 3 in the Lovers Dance series. While each book can be read as a standalone I strongly recommend reading them in order for the best reading experience. This book didn't have the same kind of personal drama as the first two. It centers around Blitz and what he must do to satisfy the producers of his Dance Blitz show so that he isn't sued for everything he has. I liked the story a lot. It was interesting to read about what goes on behind the scenes of reality TV. Livia must come to terms with the demands on Blitz and how it might affect their relationship. She is also learning to assert herself more and not be the timid little thing that several people assume she is. At times Blitz doesn't really seem to understand the toll the reality business is taking on Livia but I guess I can kind of understand how it might be difficult for him to see things through her eyes since he's pretty much become used to the way things work in Hollywood. This book doesn't leave us with a cliffhanger but the teaser for book 4 sure left me anxious to read the next one. I can't wait to read Tender Dance. An advanced copy of this book was provided to me but my review was voluntary and not influenced by the author.

This third book in the Lovers Dance series could be read as a standalone but I think in order to fully appreciate the story, the books should be read in order. Wicked Dance picks up right where Wounded Dance left off. Livia and Blitz are off to LA to film the last five episodes of Dance Blitz along with the three contestants who were left behind when Livia stormed the stage at the final taping. This book was definitely light on the angst that was prevalent in book two. There's definitely a lot of drama but since the focus of this book is a reality TV show with the divas playing their parts, drama was to be expected. I loved how this story highlighted how scripted reality TV really is. I felt like I got to know Livia so much more in this story while she was struggling with the spotlight, the cameras, and whether or not the things her father always told her were true. Book three really saw Livia coming in to her own and I can't wait to see what book four has in store for her and Blitz. *this is my voluntary review of an advanced reader copy*
