Meanwhile, as his brothers are finding their HEA, Tucker , the one that lost the love of his life years ago, is ready to open his heart . But what happens when the first woman that Tucker is attracted to, is one that is not ready to move ahead after the loss of her husband? Maggie is that woman. Will she take a chance on Tucker? On a lesser plot, Lisa, Alice’s friend and co-owner of the restaurant at the Star Grazer Inn, is conflicted and not ready to let chef Zane into her heart. In this clean contemporary romance, the author reminds us that if we are willing to open our hearts after the loss of a loved ones, we can find love a second time around. In addition, the author let’s the longtime reader know how the characters of previous books are doing. I was entrusted a copy of this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

When a spouse or significant other dies, the grieving is deep and difficult to wade through. This book explores this subject and how two characters connect after having gone through deaths of a husband and a fiance'. One happened quite a few years ago and the other happened about 2 years ago but the length isn't what matters. It's where you are in the grieving process. Tucker has finally decided that he is ready to move on and begin dating again but it'll be hard. Maggie is nowhere near ready to begin a romance.... or is she? Tucker touches something inside her that might make her want to move on. She'll just have to take it slow and see. I enjoyed watching these two characters explore their feelings and be there for each other. Then, there is Alice and Seth, the newlyweds. What fun to see their love story after THEY went through the grieving process previously!!! We also get to see more of Lisa and Zane's story. Lisa will not accept her feelings for Zane and shuts him down at every turn. I'm looking forward to the next book and their story! The end of this book was so heart wrenching! There was a lot of positives and happiness in this book, even though the characters focused on grief. Other characters had some joyous news!
