Things aren't always what they seem. This story universe is well constructed and interesting. It's similar to Piers Anthony's Incarnations of Immortality and Robert Asprin's 'Myth series. A look behind the curtain at our world to poke fun at the pompus asses we observe all too often. Lots of humorous irreverence and good character development. Don't take it too seriously and have fun!

great series!!! last few pages were a cliffhanger.
