This was my first time reading a book like this, vampires are not really my thing however I was fully submerged into the story and allowed my imagination to run with it. Great read, reignited my passion for reading and exposed me to a whole new dimension. Can't believe there are so many in the series....Will be reading the second book right now. Hopefully I can read the full series.

I thought the story was fantastic, great detail of characters and connections. My only complaint was I couldn't put it down and it was always in the back of my mind thinking about the story and what's going to happen next. I'm no teenager (I wish), but I really enjoyed this book highly recommend it!

I have never really enjoyed reading but in the last year have been trying more, usually reading about 5 pages each night before falling asleep. However, Deception, kept me reading page after page. The story was awesome, easy read (despite a lot of typos-justified at end). I was disappointed with the ending before realizing it is a series, so I will most certainly be checking out the next. Thank you.
