His best-friend Mike asks him to look after his sister Destiny during the bluebonnet festival since she's being harassed for their land. When Thorne meets Destiny he's captivated by her but he can't tell her the truth of why he's there that her brother Mike sent him to help her. I don't want to say anymore & ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read this charming best-friend's sister romance to see what happens. I would recommend reading this book. Thorne ends up helping Destiny after her brother asks him to keep an eye on her during his leave. There is an instant attraction between them.They give into their sizzling chemistry and their feelings grow. Thorne is feeling guilty as he is keeping his real identity a secret from Destiny and she is also of limits. When Destiny finds out she is heartbroken and upset.Thorne eventually wins her over and they get to their happily ever after. An enjoyable insta love best friends little sister forbidden romance with sizzling chemistry,suspence,danger,family,friendships laughter,romance,and a sweet happily ever after. When Thorne was on leave he didn't expect to be asked to look after Destiny, his best friend's little sister when some company is trying to make a grab for their land. Loads of drama, suspense, danger and friction make for an intense book but the romance is very high as Thorne takes a forbidden liking to his best friends little sister.
