I would have LOVED this book at seventeen. At twentyseven, it's still thought provoking and interesting, but it simply doesn't move me the way it would have moved me at seventeen. I don't entirely buy the transformation of the main character, for one; it seems to me far too abrupt and illogical. Parts of the book was fantastic, though, even for a twentyseven year old! :-)

An easy-to-read book which includes a similar idea to books like Matched and Knots and Crosses. The book itself is a pleasant read about what our world would like if Love was not only banned but cured.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I liked how the concept of love being a disease was outlined with truth behind it- it controls you at times. After reading Delirium, I went on to read the next books in the series Pandemonium and Requiem and would recommend it to teens who like to get lost in a parallel world.
