'Delmar' is Kathi S. Barton's first book in her new "Archer's Dynasty" series and I have to say, this is the first time I've read one of Ms. Barton's books where the family or at least one of the characters wasn't some type of paranormal. There was a mention from Peter when he acknowledged being a Vampire of an Attorney or when Del told Merce he was going to spend at least the next 200 years making her happy but unless there's a surprise that's going to pop up in the next book, this is strictly a romance book with one heck of a plot and storyline. The characters are strong, the camaraderie with friends and the loyalty and love of family, at least some family) is still the key element. Truthfully, in this one, I'm not sure which family has the more whacked-out members; Del's or Merce's. You'll have to decide for yourself and I know you'll enjoy the journey as much as I did
