Dillon lost his detective job when he helped Cerberus find the person who had threatened Samantha so they didn’t have to admit they were wrong, so Cerberus hired him. Pippa was Seth’s sister and was a comic getting threats so Dillon was assigned to her but to explain his presence they were creative. Didn’t guess the person who was behind the threats. Good book!.
