We r a Republic of the people for the people by the people ..Democracy sucks ... It only mean majority rules... That is not a good thing we. A republic nation's laws limited the power of government intrusiveness into your life ... A Mobocracy just destroys our country and our liberty, freedoms, and right r all being taken away because of democracy .... Where is the liberty in taking our rights away.

For the times when it was written and by a Frenchman speaks volumes that he had a better understanding of our political system than the majority of todays so-called Americans. Should be required reading in all schools.

First America is not a democracy, its a constitutional republic and this is just a bunch of picked over events that aren't nearly as enlightening as the federalist papers
