I read this whole series when I was about 14 and now almost 10 years later I decided to re-read it and its almost like I never read it. Even though I know what's going to happen next I'm hooked just like before. I can't put it down they tend to be a little slow to start but all good books are and even though it's slow to start I finished this book in a day and a half. Outstanding.

It is better than Lord Loss, that much I am certain. The twist was really unexpected, but the ending was just a teensy-bit predictable. This book is one of the best I've ever read. In my eyes,Kernel could be a better protagonist than shallow Grubbs Grady.

I never actually picked up a book, but I like this demon and other creatures stuff, so I picked it up, I still don't regret picking up either one of the two books, I feel like getting the whole series now.
