I have not read this but it is a total take off on the Japanese movie Battle Royal. Anyone who's seen the front of the DVD cover or a movie poster knows that look. Total take off, hope they do it well. Battle Royal is legendary (and gory as heck).

I don't think it taking off the hunger games. It's more like Battle Royale. Which is way better that the hunger games.
