I'm sounding like a broken record at this point, but Detective Comics remains a strong contender for the Rebirth initiative's best title. For six issues now it has given us a compelling story, fantastic artwork, and above all, a group of excellent characters to follow. In #939, the team goes head-to-head against the Colony, attempting to relocate the rogue military unit's targets before it's too late, and it's thrilling stuff. A last minute twist sees one member of the team put themselves on the line to protect others, and it will be interesting to see how the results of that decision play out in #940. Aside from that, we get good moments from Kate, Bruce, and Clayface, and there's even a small bit of foreshadowing for future issues. This series, as I've said before, is stellar, and absolutely worth buying.
