About this ebook

This book is written for every woman who is seeking God’s will for her life. Whether you are twenty, forty, sixty, or eighty years old, it is neither too early nor too late to know your purpose in life and to walk the path God has called you to walk and to fulfill what he has called you to do. This is a devotion series, which focuses on six biblical women and how their life experiences can serve as powerful examples for us. The women are Sarah (Genesis); Hannah (I Samuel); Deborah (Judges); Esther (Esther); the woman with the issue of blood (Luke); and the Samaritan woman (John). Each devotion is preceded by a litany of promise as we seek divine examples for our lives. As women of God, we all have a sincere desire to follow his plan. The challenge comes in discerning the time and always trying to figure out exactly what we should be doing. It may be that as women, since we have so many demands on our time, it is hard to hit the “pause” button in our lives and listen to the small but powerful voice speaking within our souls. We reason that we cannot give up a good-paying job to go into the ministry. For most women, that may be true. We also reason that as stay-at-home mothers, we are constantly consumed throughout the day, and the work is never complete. No matter if we work inside or outside the home, there are many opportunities to serve the Lord. Maybe starting a Bible study on Saturday mornings to minister to neighborhood women is your call.
