About this ebook

Can an isolated rancher fall for the one woman who thaws his heart? Find out in Diana Palmer's beloved HEART OF ICE.

The last thing in the world romance novelist Katriane James wanted to do was spend her holiday with her roommate's arrogant, infuriating brother. A rugged man like Egan Winthrop belonged in New York City about as much as she belonged out in the wilderness of his ranch.

But Egan's powerful presence soon stripped Katriane of her defenses, and his offer of a visit to his Wyoming home was one she couldn't refuse. Soon Katriane had lost her heart as completely as the heroines in her own stories. But how could she convince Egan that, unlike the women in her books, she had never yet been loved?

I love a good romance story, but I just could not like this one. The leading male character was completely horrible to the poor girl all the way through. I absolutely hated him! How she could have possibly fell in love with him is beyond me! It made her seem so pathetic. I just found it completely unbelievable.

I normally love Diana Palmer but this one was the exception. Egan the male love interest was just mean, nasty and rude to the girl in love with him.

What a lovely twist to "Kiss me Kate"! (Not quite "Taming of the Shrew." LOL) MEN can be so frustrating! And so is admitting to falling in love! Written well. Love your descriptions of Wyoming (and other settings in your writing). Thank you, Ms. Palmer, for another lovely romance!
