Anhand der Programme wird die politische Orientierung der Partei aufgezeigt und ihr Weg von der Arbeiterpartei zur allgemeinen Volkspartei. Sowie die Rückorientierung von der Politik der „Neuen Mitte“ zum linken Teil des Parteienspektrums.
