Die Verschwörung des Fiesco zu Genua ist das zweite vollendete Drama Friedrich Schillers. Er begann es nach der Premiere von Die Räuber 1782 und widmete es seinem Lehrer Jakob Friedrich von Abel. Das im Untertitel "Ein Republikanisches Trauerspiel" genannte Stück, das sich an die historische Verschwörung des Giovanni Luigi de Fieschi gegen Andrea Doria in Genua des Frühjahrs 1547 anlehnt, wurde 1783 am Bonner Hoftheater uraufgeführt.
