About this eBook

It's been over a month since Devlin Miski came out publicly, and no other professional athlete has followed suit. Dev just wants to put it all behind him and play football, helping his Chevali Firebirds win their first-ever division title. If only his teammates--and everyone else--could just let it go, he'd be fine. But there's one teammate in particular who seems determined to make his life difficult... And for his boyfriend Lee, the past is never laid to rest. If it isn't his parents' troubled marriage, it's an old friend pulling him back into gay rights activism. Lee could make a splash by getting Dev to promote gay rights, but he knows it would distract Dev from football. So he has to balance the pressures of the outside world against the needs of his relationship, and even for a clever fox, that’s a tall order. In this third volume of Dev and Lee's story, the tiger and fox continue to explore their relationship. Personalities clash and dreams are on the line as Dev and Lee navigate their very public lives and try to stay true to themselves.

Offers too many conflicts and no resolutions, while it doesn't end on a cliff hanger, it just pushes the ending into another book (makes it feel like half a book since it doesn't leave you satisfied.) . If you liked the football and adult scenes from the other books, this one has those in abundance.

Pretty good. I loved the last few chapters. There were some serious insults spit between lee and his mother! Great book. Not as good as the 2nd, but great work nonetheless.

Lee becomes absolutely unlikeable but I think his constant negative aura and shortening temper is the point. There's an interesting role reversal where Dev has saintly patience and consideration while Lee becomes impatient and less considerate. Activism can happen any time but Dev's career chances only happen once, yet Lee never seems to think that deeply about it. There is no clear resolution, but it's a moot point considering it's close link with the next book. Overall an enjoyable read that details my favourite character falling into ruins. Honestly, him becoming agitated and impatient is an interesting and welcome development and it seems to be the main obstacle at the moment.
