I loved Storms & Sacrifice by Dominic N. Ashen. It's the second book in the Steel & Thunder series. Some parts were a little slow, but it picked up at the halfway point, and just like the first book, the author took my emotions on a roller coaster ride. I loved David's twenty-second birthday party. I can't wait to read the next book in the series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

The plot thickens and that's a good thing. This could have easily been just another book of erotica but the storyline of mystery continues, and deepens, with this book. Khazak and David's relationship continues to blossom. The story of the festival reminds me a lot of Southern Decadence; all bets are off and all inhibitions put away as the couple grow together. I am looking forward to the next installment. You will be too.

Dominic N. Ashen is an author and avid reader, with a heavy focus on gay, BDSM-themed erotica. After spending his youth in search of books with characters who were more like himself – queer ones, specifically – he decided to start creating some of his own.
