The beginning was a little boring but it gave me the urge to continue reading. Not only that but the plot twist towards the end is top tier. I'm glad I read and finished this book.

The Haunting of Sunshine House is the first book in the Ghosts of Los Angeles series and is a great start to the series. I really enjoyed this book and the history around the building. The characters are well depicted and the story captured my interest from beginning to end. I am looking forward to more books in this series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

a bit confusing at first, but eventually settles into a detective story of someone killing assisted living residents, with an occasional ghost and a psychic medium trying to solve the crimes
