I like the fact that this doctor writes with a Christian perspective as I am a born again Christian too. I do however disagree with him to a certain degree regarding His Theology and Dogma. It's very limited. God uses diseases to make us more dependent upon Him to find our strength in Him instead of ourselves (2 Corinthians 12:7-9). We are all subject to a fallen world full of disease, suffering and ultimately death (Rom 8:18-23; ) our hope, our heavly body (autoimmune disease free) awaits us in Heaven. God can heal us but sometimes He doesn't. No where in His word does he guarantee us a tribulation free life. He promises to be WITH us in our tribulations not TAKE IT AWAY from us (Isaiah 43:2). I still glorify Him in my Lupus, now even more than when I was healthy. I count my Lupus as joy (James 1:2 ; Rom 15:13) and I await to be with Him forever on that side of the grave, Lupus free. Now I enjoy His presence and my strength in Him - in and through this disease (Philippians 4:13).
