this book #2 was just ok. the first in the series was better. in about the middle, it seemed like after a while she was using words to fill the pages, like telling us things she had already said in the beginning. all in all it was a fast read if you are looking to fill time.

Taylor always looked at fortune tellers and the like with distrust and in Don't Breathe we see how her feelings towards the occult change and she finds it helps her. She will face a very intelligent serial killer and a chess addict, and major changes in her personal and professional life, but these changes may give her a new take on the times to come. A very good plot is well written and entertaining. I received a free copy of this book and this is my honest opinion.

Taylor has a challenging case, that brings up the demons of her past. The only clue is the chess pieces left. Wanting something to go on she seeks help with a tarot reader, she is desperate to stop him. A interesting plot that catches you from the first page to figure out.
