About this ebook

Does Samantha deserve to live her dream?

On a dark rainy highway, 16-year-old Samantha drove the car that killed her dad. Convinced she was spared for a reason, Samantha dedicates her life to becoming what her dad always planned her to be, a racing champion. Samantha bluffs her way into a car testing session and convinces the owner of a German Formula One team to take a huge chance on her.

Manny Wolert doesn't like to make waves. His uncle owns the racing team, but the crew tease the boy like one of their own. Even the team manager orders Manny around like an intern. But that's okay. Manny loves racing and dreams of designing his own racing cars. He just can't ride in one due to his motion sickness.

But then Samantha came into his life. That spirited American girl who can make a 720 horsepower race car dance on a track. That girl who's not afraid to tell the team boss to go kick himself. That girl who fights for a place on the team and never quits.

She's amazing.

But Ferrari legend Emilio Ronaldo isn't impressed with Wolert Porsche's new “experiment” in racing. Emilio is an eight-time world champion. The best of the best. A driver with no equal. Emilio will not let a smart-ass teenage girl who's full of herself take away what's always been his.

This book was fabulous as a movie fan and a girl who runs a book club I can so see this coming to life on the big screen, hope it does, love the drama, the competitiveness, the if you are going to succeed you have to work for it success isn't just given out you chase it. Love to see those cars, racing, the farm, the race tracks around the globe, if you want to get in the race dive in to Skid, it won't disappoint.
