About the author

A versatile and passionate researcher along with an academic professional with over 12 years of teaching experience. Dr. Komal has a Ph.D. in Corporate Law. She is also the author of a comprehensive textbook, “Law related to Mergers and Acquisitions” (Thomson and Reuters). Besides this, She is also an editor of various books in the field of law. She has completed courses in Intellectual Property Rights from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), and published and presented papers and scholarly pieces in numerous international and national forums and journals widely contributing to the creation of knowledge in niche areas of her expertise. She has also established the Centre for Corporate Law, Research and Training. Her expertise in Commercial laws has been tapped by the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) for the creation of discipline-specific courses for the benefit of the broader community of learners in the country. She also has two MOOCs added to her account. Dr. Komal with her research and writing acumen has combined the theoretical and practical aspects of law to mould a teaching pedagogy in law school.

Dr. Tiwari's scholarly dedication is evident through her completion of a Ph.D. in 2010. Additionally, she holds a PG Diploma in Labour Law & Administrative Management and is a Certified Lead Auditor from ICS Mumbai, showcasing her commitment to continuous learning and professional development. With an impressive career spanning 19 years, starting in 2003, Dr. Tiwari has garnered extensive experience in teaching, training, and academic administration. There is work published and presented in the areas of Training and employee retention, Employee engagement, Human resource planning, Business education, Talent Management and work-life balance, Quality assurance in higher education, Skill development, and Quality Education (SDGs) in various national and international journals & conferences. Additionally, she is the guest editor of two special issues of Emerald Publishing's Scopus-indexed and ABDC listed journal "Worldwide Hospitality and Tourism Themes" (Years 2019 & 2021). She has made significant contributions to her field by publishing and presenting her work in esteemed national and international journals and conferences.
