Rebecca Roan works in the book publishing division at Highlights for Children. She is a recipient of the PEN New England Children's Book Discovery Award. The inspiration for Dragons Get Colds Too came from her years of being sneezed on by tiny dragons. This is her first picture book.

Charles Santoso loves drawing things in his little journal and dreaming about funny, wondrous stories. He has illustrated several picture books, including Ida, Always, written by Caron Levis, which was mentioned in the New York Times as "an example of children's books at their best," and The Snurtch and I Don't Like Koala, both written by Sean Ferrell.
