This is a mysterious novel set in the background of World War II. Die Nadel, a German spy, goes by the name Faber in England. He has started a session of killing those who come in his way and some innocent people too. MI 15 is also giving a thumbs up to the British spy agency and the police. He is trying to reach Portugal to send some important photos to Germany; But due to a hurricane he reaches a house on an island. He kills David, a crippled soldier in that house. His beautiful wife Lucy and Die develop a physical attraction; But Lucy learns that Diane has killed David and realizes that her life and that of her three-year-old son are in danger. She understands who Die is. Then a deadly conflict develops between her and Die. Do Lucy and her baby survive Die's clutches? Does Die succeed in getting the photo to Germany? 作者简介

Ken Follett was born in Cardiff, Wales in 1949. He graduated from University College, London with a degree in Philosophy. He then worked as a newspaper reporter, first with the South Wales Echo and then with the Evening News, London. ‘Eye of the Needle’, his first international bestseller, won the Edward Award for Mystery Writers of America. A film starring Donald Sutherland and Kate Nelligan was also released. Follett's other books include Triple, The Key to Rebecca, and The Man from St. Petersburg. His home is in Edwardian County, Surrey, England. He lives there with his wife and two children. He has a second home in New York City.

Born in Mumbai and an engineer by profession, Mahesh Karlekar has held many prestigious positions in the corporate world. However, his inclination is towards literature. While reading bestsellers in Marathi as well as English, he realized that some of them have not yet reached the common Marathi readers. A few chapters which were initially translated casually as a hobby got a good response and the complete book was ready. Currently he is working on his next book while pursuing his own business dream. Currently he lives in Thane with his wife and son who is an engineer.
