“Learn to Love & Love to Learn” is the autobiography of a Hoosier lad born in 1933, depicting his struggles to overcome strict limitations imposed on him while growing up in an ultra-conservative environment. The story begins with the author questioning how a kind and loving Father-God could allow the innocent death of loved ones. The story then reverts directly to the ‘nitty-gritty,’ to the growing and learning processes – from pre-school to the present. The book is fi lled with questions, many common and many stupid mistakes, guesses, selfi sh choices, and funny as well as sad and heart-wrenching experiences. It uncovers valuable discoveries as: ‘Why?’ is not only permissible, but an absolutely necessary question needed to understand life’s meanings.
