This was a very heart-wrenching story for me. There was suspense and angst but it was the wonderful way that E.M. Shue portrayed the female lead’s thoughts and feelings that kept me reading until I finished because I needed to see how her story ended. Another excellent story that I highly recommend.

Loved this book! Lyric is the hacker giving Alex and the casino so much trouble but going undercover for one will cost lyric her heart, Alex is bound and determined to grind the woman that left him after their night together but not knowing who she really is will prove difficult for him. Will he find her? Will he forgive her for what she did and will he protect her her when she's in danger? A MUST READ

About the author

E.M. Shue is an Alaskan award-winning romance author. She writes in many different sub-genres but always features badass heroines in gritty situations. As the mother to three grown daughters and two granddaughters she wants readers to be able to see that tough girls can have happy endings too. She is married to the love of her life of over twenty years who she married within months of starting to date, instalove is real.
