This review is only based on the sample(700+pgs) but it looks as if this contains only Bullingers notes and commentary...not the Bible to go with it. my companion Bible has the commentary and the KJV Bible together. Not sure why this doesn't explain that in the "about this book" section...it should. Aside from that, reading the word with understanding is a precious thing and the companion Bible really helps to do that. Also having a Strong's Concordance to look up translated words in the original language is super helpful in truly understanding what The Word teaches. one of the best teachers of the word of God is The Shepherds Chapel with Pastor Murray. They teach truth only. God bless you if you are seeking Him and seeking truth!(why does the date of this review say 12/31/1969?)😆 today is 05/31/2020

Based on another review saying this is only the notes, I took a look at the free sample and from that it appears to be true. Without the actual Bible to go with it, you need a separate KJV etc. If you look online you can find the Companion Bible out there, sometimes for free in pdf form. This is NOT the Companion Bible and should NOT be mark(et)ed as such!

It's the best study bible out there it's more than just notes it's got a side column that explains meanings of names what certain word's mean If the people who say where's the bible? At first it is hard to understand but it becomes very easy to know & study I wouldn't have any other study bible & I've seen or used most of them the companion bible is one of the best it's for the strong bible study reader who wants to do a real deep study or if you don't want to do a deep story of God's word go to the others that don't give a detailed study or outlines of God's word it's only Our Heavenly Father you'd should get to know better.
