This is Book 4, so it would be best to start with Book 1 so you have all the characters’ backstories, understand their relationships, and know about their paranormal abilities. Plus, I’ve read them all and can assure you that all the books in this series are quite enjoyable in their own right. Instead of a new murder, Skye is asked to see if the Plaza Hotel is haunted, and although she feels a cold spot and has a scare in the elevator, she doesn’t actually detect a ghost.
