About the author
Ed Darack has covered America’s modern wars as both a writer and a photographer for over a decade. He’s embedded with combat troops a total of six times—twice in Iraq and four times in Afghanistan. He’s also embedded dozens of times with the U.S. military during training exercises, both at home and overseas. Darack has independently produced a tremendous volume of military themed imagery used on the covers and interiors of books, newspapers, magazines, and via online venues across the globe.
