Ed Teja has been a writer, editor, boat bum, musician, composer, poet, and worked at some extremely odd jobs. His time as boat bum, a period of ten years when he lived on a boat, writing stories and poetry and playing music in waterfront dives in the Caribbean, made a huge impression on him, and continue to come through in his writing.
