About the author
Arqueólogo. Coordinó diversos proyectos a lo largo del país, incluyendo el del Templo Mayor. Es profesor investigador emérito del INAH y miembro del Seminario de Cultura Mexicana y la Academia Mexicana de la Historia. Ha recibido destacados premios como el Nacional de Ciencias y Artes y el Nacional Malinalli. Ingresó a El Colegio Nacional el 24 de junio de 1993.
