This is the first book by this author that I have read, it is well-written and a story that I enjoyed reading. Lindie Brewster is forty and owns the home that Blaine Stockwell wants to buy. It belonged to his Grandparents and he wants to buy it. These two will have a lot to overcome to get a happy ending. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This was my first read from this author and I enjoyed it. It was a good well written hot read. the plot was interesting and held my attention and while I really liked Blaine it did take me a while to warm to Lindie they were good together and had great chemistry, A super start to the series

All he wants is to buy the land that belonged in his family but the woman on the property refused to even contemplate his offer. Lindie was happy with her home and refused to allow anyone the privilege of removing her from the hard work she put in to it. Blaine was determined to get what he wanted he never expected the emotions her felt by being with Lindie. Will They come to a mutual agreement? When her fingers aren't attached to her keyboard, Mellanie Szereto enjoys hiking, Pilates, cooking, gardening, and researching for her stories. Many times, the research partners with her other hobbies, taking her from the Hocking Hills region in Ohio to the Colorado Rockies and the Adirondacks of New York. Sometimes, the trip is no farther than her garden for ingredients and her kitchen to test recipes for her latest steamy tale. Mellanie makes her home in rural Indiana with her husband of thirty-two years and their son.
