She is a member of advisory committees on library networking and copyright law~ chairman of the Joint Board/Council Committee on Copyright of the American Chemical Society~ and author of a bimonthly column on copyright for the Bulletin of the American Society for Information Science. She has published numerous articles on information science and technology and library automation.
