Ratings and reviews

Good series but definitely needs a longer epilogue. The end of the book definitely did not wrap up the series so I'm guessing the author is planning on writing more. I enjoyed that the author doesn't bog you down in all the shifter ins and outs instead focuses on character development and the developer of the relationship. It's a quick easy read that won't disappoint other than the epilogue issue.

I want to say that I normally only read contemporary books. I absolutely love Elena Aitken's contemporary books. I was skeptical about reading her bear series, but when I was offered the chance to read an arc of this book, I said yes. Best decision ever! I love Kira and Nash's book! Now, I need to catch up with the other books. This book grabbed and held my attention throughout the whole book. Do yourself a favor and one-click Hers to Take.

I've only read 2 or 3 shifter books and none of them really did much for me. I took a chance with this one because I love so many other Elena Aitken books. It was a good easy and quick read that I enjoyed. I liked the characters and I liked the bear/wolf mating combination. I also liked the ending which of course left it open to go further with another book.
