This was a second chance for Brit and Stefan. Stefan had asked for a divorce. As the story progressed, Stefan's reasons came to light after all the pain he caused Brit. I loved how Brit hung on to her job and balanced being a single mom. She was a wonderful mom and kept her daughter in her husband's life as well. There was a great support system for both of them. Stefan had good intentions but finally realized that he had screwed up. He cared very much for Brit the entire time. A wonderful story

This book, the final to a series, was on its way to a 4 star review BUT if you are expecting a well rounded ending you will be disappointed..so it gets 3 stars. For a series with 20 books under its belt and I own a lot of them I really would have liked a better ending...one is left totally floundering in the wind...this way...that way...who the hell knows...not even the author apparently (no hint at book 21)...the question now is...do I waste money buying the entire KTS series...damn what a dilemma I find myself in. Back to this book...if you are a fan of Elise Faber no matter the review you will buy this book...but if you are a first time buyer...simply DON'T.

Scored is book 20 in the Gold Hockey Series and when an author still has you invested in the series with this amount books you know she is one of the best in this genre and she knows what her readers want. Ms Faber certainly knows what we want and Brit and Stefan’s emotional journey is a wonderful addition to the Gold Hockey Series. Brit was the first female player in the NHL and she thought her life was perfect until her husband Stefan asks for a divorce.
