4 star Review To Smoke (Phoenix: LexTal Chronicles #3) by Elise Faber This is the first book that I have read in this series. This is bonded couple Morgan and Darcy’s story and was well written. Both Morgan and Darcy are trying to fight their bond and it was entertaining to watch the push and pull of their relationship as it progressed. . Darcy is determined to keep to herself and not allow anyone in and Morgan is just as determined to knock down the walls she has surrounded herself with. The chemistry between them was intense as it built. Darcy is haunted by the past and her struggles were real. Can Morgan convince Darcy that they should give their relationship a second chance? To Smoke was fast paced with drama, angst and plenty of steam and the characters were easy to relate to.

USA Today bestselling author, Elise Faber, loves chocolate, Star Wars, Harry Potter, and hockey (the order depending on the day and how well her team—the Sharks!—are playing). She and her husband also play as much hockey as they can squeeze into their schedules, so much so that their typical date night is spent on the ice. Elise changes her hair color more often than some people change their socks, loves sparkly things, and is the mom to two exuberant boys.
