About the author

Elizabeth Clayton began teaching at the age of twenty at the Universtiy of Southern Mississippi. She presently serves as adjunct instructor in the English Department at Mississippi College near Jackson Mississippi. Clayton has published six works (mainly poetry) since the release of her autobiography in 2007, which chronicles her struggles with Bipolar Disorder. As well as one modest volume of physcological essays.
