Danger, suspense, mysteries to solve, rekindled romance....this book has it all. And so much more!! I was completely entertained by, and fully engaged with, the characters and the storyline. From the first page until the very last, this book had me swiping pages as fast as I could read them. It kept me guessing what was going to happen next. I loved meeting Terra and Jack, and learning so much I didn't know about the national park system/forrests. Highly recommended for anyone who likes clean romantic suspense. I received an advance copy of this book from the publisher, Revell. My thoughts and opinions are my own and without bias or favor.

This is book one in the Rocky Mountain Courage series, what a great place to start. This book is full of suspense, mystery, romance and more. This book goes back and forth between characters,, however you are never lost or confused with whom is speaking. Jack Tanner and Terra Connors share a past and find themselves thrown together in a unique investigation. Both have things they must overcome and figure out before one of them is killed. This book has many twist and turns, just when you think you may have it figured out, something new happens. I look forward to reading more in this series. I was given a copy of this book for my honest opinion.

Following a plane crash, Former FBI Agent Jack Tanner, now working as a Detective in Montana is charged with leading a search and rescue mission. He stumbles across a dead man. Determined to find the killer gets much more complicated when he discovers he will be working alongside his old flame, US Forest Service Special Agent Terra Connors. They have a history, but there are still some unresolved issues. More bodies are found and Terra makes a discovery that puts a target on her back. This one seems to have it all .... family secrets. lies, threats, mystery, crime, a little romance. The plot is cleverly written with very likeable characters in Jack and Terra. Suspense starts at the very first and maintains a high level throughout. There are some twists and turns and plenty of suspects to watch .... some who are not exactly who they say they are. The ending is satisfactory .. a bit of a cliffhanger which will be the beginning of Book 2 in this series.
