About this ebook

Her life had been invaded…again!

Emily didn’t trust men. She didn’t trust the police! She only trusted herself. So why did she keep thinking about the handsome, brawny detective? Why did he invade her dreams at night? And why was she allowing him to invade her life?

Detective Kurt Anderson spotted the feisty woman and knew. He knew that someone had hurt the beautiful Emily and he knew that she was a survivor. He was fascinated by her strength and beauty, her independence and that vulnerability that she rarely let anyone see. So how did he get beyond her prickly defenses and get to know the real woman? And how could he get her to trust him, when he suspected another man had wounded her deeply?

Could his unconventional approach gain her trust? And more importantly, how did he keep her safe from someone who was trying to hurt her again?

Great Read Really enjoy reading Elizabeth Lennox stories and this one is just as good. The chemistry between Emily and Kurt is fantastic, the way Kurt understands Emily without knowing her history, shows the connection they have. Great read, recommended. If you read Oz and Charlotte stories than you would know who Emily is. Emily is a victim survivor. For her to find justice and peace, she have to put her trust into Detective Kurt Anderson. Hot Detective Kurt is a man of his own. He is welling to help her overcome her fear of intimacy and let her take advantage of him. "Handcuffs, ladies!" Overall, this is something different from what Ms. Lennox usually writes and it's not so bad. Keep up with the good work. Also, well written on the intimate part. Emily is another character from an earlier book and it’s great to see her in adult life. Trauma made her build a life that was safe and she could control, but when she arrives home to find Kurt (detective) in her home all her coping mechanisms aren’t going to stop her life from changing..... Kurt is going to change her life and keep her safe. Excellent quick read I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
