About this ebook

Sabrina’s life is hard work.  When she’s not performing her myriad duties as The Gregorio Hotel’s youngest Assistant Manager, she’s working on her law degree at Georgetown University.  There’s little time (or money) for leisure, but that’s okay with her.  Sabrina is driven to succeed despite her disadvantaged upbringing.  When a new VIP checks in to the hotel’s ridiculously extravagant and expensive penthouse suite and the manager is out, the task of his personal welcome falls to her.  What should have been a simple meet and greet takes an unexpected turn towards something much more personal!  Equally unexpected is the reaction she feels deep down for this tall, dark, and handsome stranger.  How can she avoid offending this important guest, earning the ire of her boss, and still not compromise herself personally?

For Sheik Samir, official management welcomes are yet another tedious and perfunctory activity.  Of course the manager will provide anything he requires - what else?  But the petite blond beauty that approaches him is anything but expected.  He is intrigued as much by her appearance as her straightforward manner - with none of the deference that he is used to from those that serve him.  Samir’s interest only increases as Sabrina attempts to politely refuse him.  He is certain that she underestimates both his will and his resolve!

Sabrina Portsmouth is young and determined. Sheik Samir Amir Hassan del Bousaid is royalty and used to getting what he wants. The two meet at the hotel where Sabrina works and quickly feel a connection. “He was an obnoxious, sexist, annoying pig who had more money than manners.” Five pages into this story and I feel this quote is the most accurate way to describe Sheik Samir for most of the book. Unfortunately, “Sabrina didn’t like being told what to do. And being ordered about by a man like that? No, she wasn’t going to risk her job for someone with that level of conceit.” ends up not being an accurate representation of our female protagonist in the slightest. She thinks very ill of the Sheik but in the same breath allows him to control her with next to no resistance. While I understand the sexual fantasy aspect of the story, her thorough weakness creates disdain for the character. And once Samir’s character gets to a place where you start to see some redeemable qualities, Sabrina’s character falls even further from grace. The story opens a little too strong with no build up to the characters nor their relationship. There are quite a few plot holes and so many unanswered questions. The writing is decent but the dialogue is a little juvenile. It’s a quick read and it keeps your attention but it definitely had the ability to be far more than it is. I enjoyed this. Events transpired fast. Their relationship progressed faster. I finished this in and hour. There is suspense and there is passion. However, I didn't feel them both while reading this. The ending was okay...

About the author

Although Elizabeth Lennox wanted to be a romance novelist since the eighth grade, that dream only became a (paid) reality for her in 2010 and a full time job in 2012! Along the way, she received a BS in History and held different jobs in the real estate, government consulting, and financial industries.  All during that time, though, she was always writing.  To date, she has published over sixty romances (and counting), using her personal experiences, dreams, and travels throughout the United States, Europe and the Caribbean as backdrops for her stories.

She lives in Virginia with her husband and two children.  Their home is just outside of Washington, D.C., and many of her novels are set in this area.

She loves hearing from her readers!  Connect with her on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/Author.Elizabeth.Lennox), Twitter (@ElizabethLenno1), or e-mail her at elizabeth@elizabethlennox.com.
