About this ebook

What do a small-time card shark fresh out of the state foster system and a newly-expelled-from-college computer geek have in common? Desperation. And they live in apartments across the hall from each other. An ill-timed peek through a peephole and an impromptu omelet lead to a business venture that takes Charlie (she's the brawn) and Doug (he's the brains) into the strange worlds of bounty hunting and the supernatural.

**WARNING** Foul language, physical violence, and other graphic content abound in this novel. May not be suitable for readers younger than 15.

HERE'S WHAT READERS ARE SAYING ABOUT ACES HIGH:

“I’ve read a lot of Elle Casey and wasn't sure what to expect of a collaboration with another author, but holy crap. This book was an insane ride. I completely embarrassed myself laughing so hard. I absolutely love Charlie and Doug. They are completely different but so real. Oh to have a friend like either of them. They get themselves into some crazy situations and trying to get themselves out is the best part. Wasn't really expecting a few of the turns the book made, but enjoyed it every step of the way. Hopefully there will be a second book, because I need to see where they are going.” ~ Amazon Reviewer

“This was absolutely effing hilarious. I haven’t laughed so hard in ages. To say that I loved the duet is lightly put, I went s***balls over it… I loved the supernatural angle this book had. And damn, the situations they got themselves in were more than crazy. I really want to read some more of this series.” ~

“I am a huge Elle Casey fan so I am not surprised that this book is as good as it is. However, this is the first time I have read anything by Jason Brant. Boy was I pleasantly surprised!… Add Crazy characters and many surprise twists, I was very entertained! Kudos and applause to Jason and Elle for writing a very engaging book. I am looking forward to more from these two.” ~

Sequel please! Loved the two perspectives with alternating chapters, really gelled well with the two writers, and for the lovers of the paranormal it is a fine example of the genre, mixed with modern day teen attitude. I had 'Devoured' all of Jason Brant's books, and was pleasantly surprised to find this co-authored book with Elle Casey. It would be 'Madness' if there weren't more! (Enough with the Brant title references now, sorry!) Highly recommend this book!

My last book to read by Jason and I wasn't disappointed, this book had me hooked, I love the relationship between the two main characters, you 2 work well together, would love to read more from you, have you done any more books together? If not, do you plan to?

A little repetitive, but fast paced fun.
