This review was written by Marie for a guest review post on Ever After Book Reviews blog: 4 Stars To say that this book was not what I expected would be an understatement. I’ve been a fan of this series from the get-go, but I was never a huge fan of Derek. He always rubbed me the wrong way with his abrasive, stand-offish personality. So when I started this one, I wasn’t thrilled that it was his story. As a matter of fact, half-way through the book, I wasn’t really into it at all. But at one point, everything changed. Derek became the complete opposite of what he had always been, and I found myself feeling for him, wishing that the story wouldn’t come to an end. Honestly? Midnight Revenge is definitely one of the top three books of this entire series for me! Derek wasn’t the only reason. The story is thrilling, fun and, in true Elle Kennedy form, sexy as hell. It’s got action, romance, and an edge-of-your-seat pace. I am so glad that I was given the opportunity to read this book and can’t wait for the next one. If you haven’t read the previous books in this series, you should, as there are other stories woven in throughout this one. ***I read and reviewed a paperback copy of the book gifted to the blog, from the publisher, in exchange for an honest review. All conclusions reached are my own***
ANTRA VITOLA
My experience was pretty confusing, because this story is overloaded with so much unnecessary violence. It's felt so unnaturally compound. And so many sidetracks, that made the story to lose it's flow.

my goodness Derek Pratt. I've seen glimpses of him in the other books and I was like Mhm.. Mhm.. and then I said let me read about him.. man his humour was tickling me, how he allowed himself to open up to Sofia and yet kept that mean streak of his... loved it! and of course... my Sully & Liam how their story is developing through these other books. I just wish they had their own book. I loved them so much. Derek is... he was great! love this!
