When I say that the style of writing is similar to that of a grade school fan fiction, I want you to understand that I don't mean grammar. I mean the style is that of a child, with random sex thrown in with a confusing frequency. Also, half of the foreplay descriptions are physically impossible. If I didn't know better, I would think the author was a prepubescent male writing down his sex dreams. No offense to the author, but you could do better than this. Length can be your friend, but keeping each story at exactly 120 pages regardless of content is hurting the storyline and structure.

Shifters Forever: Box Set is a fantastic paranormal romance by Elle Thorne. This is a set of 6 complete books about the shifter of Bear Canyon Valley. Ms. Thorne has provided readers with an outstanding cast of characters in these books. Each book is a standalone, no cliff-hangers. I enjoyed reading this collection and look forward to reading more from Elle Thorne in the future. The books included in this set are: Protection, Seduction, Persuasion, Invitation, Temptation and Attraction.

I only made it through the first 2 chapters. I wasn't too bothered by the lack of description. It was more like a draft that the author planned to add the detail in later. I can let my imagination take over when a book is like that, so that wasn't what bothered me. What set me off was how weak and timid the protagonist is. I get shy. I even get not making waves, but I was downright frustrated and disgusted. It was like a 10 year old girl trying to play the role of a woman without a women's experience.
