I am really not one to negatively review books...the reason for this is because I have a lot of respect for ANYONE who can write out a full story and then go out on a limb to get it published. I say that, BUT...this story was REALLY rushed; too rushed! So, I, unfortunately, had to give it only 3 stars. It really took away from the believability of the story when events happened rapid fire or explanations were hastily handled. I liked the premise, which was using Asian mythology to make a completely new world; I just wish the author had taken more time to flesh certain parts of the story. To make a long story short, this book could have been amazing but was really just meh.
