This is the first book that I have read from this author and I really enjoyed it. It was a friends to lovers’ romance and that is my favorite type. I love watching friends fall in love and just don’t realize that they one that they have been looking for is standing right in front of them the whole time. Sometimes you don’t see what is right in front of you. Jake and Mary were no exception. They were such a great couple. The push and pull of them was great. They were comfortable around each other but at times they were stumbling around not sure what to do around each other. This made them more real. Their group of friends was a fun addition to this story and I loved how they all interacted with each other. I can’t wait to read more of her work. I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
